Everyone loves a good chat and talking whilst enjoying a cuppa is good for the soul.
Volunteers will travel with staff and a small group of residents every second Wednesday morning for morning tea. The right volunteer(s) will have patience and a genuine empathy and liking for older people, some of whom may have some short term memory loss. Good communication skills, a happy disposition and a willingness to take instruction from staff are all mandatory requirements.
