The Wilderness Society runs a stall each Saturday at the famous Salamanca market. You'll be working with our campaign team in one or more of 3 shifts: Setup from 7am; Sales and conversations from 9am - 2pm; pack down from 2:30pm.

There are two distinct roles : set up/pack down; and sales and conversations.

Training for the set up/pack down role includes safe lifting techniques, how to deal with difficult people and what to do in an emergency or first aid situation. Training for the sales and conversations role includes these items as well as how to deal with difficult people, and a slow build on campaign content (its ok to say that you do not know, but will find out and get back to someone).

Applicants for this position (and everyone you work with) will be guided by our positive values and code of conduct.

We are here to professionally represent the Wilderness Society Tasmania and to raise funds for our campaigns.
