A person with Initiative, ability to take direction and willing to learn is preferred. A cheerful friendly disposition, with a professional work attitude and professional presentation, essential. Good speaking voice and English. Diction and clear pronunciation as this role could lead to "On Air" announcements for the right person.
On the job training will be provided - Station Software and preparation of Bulletins and Recording. Would like a commitment of 6 +months , probation period applies.

High level of computer and typing skills. Must be familiar with using internet. Interested in news and current issues particularly of local relevance. Enjoy working as a team. Experience in journalism/media an advantage but not essential.
