Volunteers are responsible for welcoming visitors to the Museum, recording visitor numbers, taking tours, answering questions and helping staff with some Museum work, such as cleaning objects and preparing materials for the education program. Training is provided. Volunteers are rostered to work from 2pm-5pm on one Sunday per month, from February to November. Occasionally volunteers are asked to swap or fill dates when more people are needed. Please note that this is not a Centrelink volunteer position.
