Are you a good communicator with a positive attitude to life? Are you keen to meet new people and to gain useful skills? Do you like to be flexible and creative? Do you have 1-2 hrs per week to offer?
We are a busy and dynamic home-based family support programme in Southern Tasmania that is making a difference to peoples' lives!
Our volunteers visit families regularly, usually once a week for around 2 hours, to provide information and support and to assist families in accessing relevant services and resources.
Volunteers are matched with their families, and can choose times to meet that are convenient and flexible.
We provide thorough induction training in a location that's convenient for you, and ongoing training opportunities are available.
A driver’s licence is helpful but not essential. We support you in obtaining a current working with children check.
We provide appropriate reimbursement for expenses.
