Are you supportive, caring and non-judgemental? Become a mentor for an at risk adolescent

The Ready 4 Work Program is a community based mentor program for young people who are currently living in or who have lived in residential or home based care under a DHS Child Protection Order. Young people are carefully matched with a trained volunteer mentor who can provide a supportive, caring and non-judgmental relationship. The program is designed to assist young people in developing connections with their wider community through the exploration of sporting activities, hobbies and interests. The volunteer mentors assist their mentees in working towards their goals of employment, training or education. Training for volunteers is mandatory and continued training and supervision is provided to all mentors. Volunteers 21 and over may apply. Police and Working With Children checks required.
