Vinnies is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join their Warehouse Team in Launceston.

It doesn't matter whether you can only spare a few hours or a few days, we are happy to find a volunteering role that suits your skills and availability.

Our warehouse contains many donated items, and is a real hub for the great work we do at St Vincent de Paul Society.

Examples are:

Sorting of Donated Stock Sort and pack donated items into categories ready for delivery to our Vinnies Shops Proceeds from our Shops are used to assist people in need in the community.

Industrial Rags Some of the clothing donated that is not suitable for resale can be unsed for industrial rags. Become a part of our team preparing these for resale.

Driver or Driver's Companion Are you an experienced driver? Or would you be happy to accompany one of our drivers? We have a number of vehicles and are always looking for someone to do those smaller runs. For the larger vehicles you may be asked to accompany our driver when collecting donations, emptying Donation Bins or delivering stock to the shops.

Vinnies will provide on the job training.

Volunteer Requirements:

• need to be over the age of 16 years
• complete and hold a Working with Vulnerable People Card while volunteering with us
• need to undergo a National Police Check
