Outing Guide - Concord / Metro Area - # 17649

Volunteers are needed to accompany vision / hearing impaired people on an outing in the metropolitan area, on the last Saturday of the month for their Hand-Over-Hand Club Outings. You can also meet at venue.


  • Ability to communicate with deafblind people using Auslan, fingerspelling or other communication. However, this isn't essential as you will receive┬átraining.
  • Volunteers will need a good level of English to communicate effectively communicate especially with the hearing impaired .

Minimum age is 17 years.


  • Gain satisfaction from the knowledge that you are giving enjoyment to a group of visually/hearing impaired people.
