A selfless caring volunteer required to visit patients and their families in a home environment and provide companionship to the patient and respite for the carer. This would take 4 hours per week. This role can be emotionally demanding as you will be dealing with patients that are terminally ill.

Four days of training (2 days x 2 weeks) in a hospital (RPA, Concord or Canterbury) plus hospital orientation.

It is preferable if the volunteer has their own transport, A caring and emotionally strong person required and a second language would be useful.
