If you like various crafts and would like to help blind,deaf people learn new skills and gain sense of accomplishment you may be interested in volunteer role. Assist in finding and implementing craft that can be tactile and performed by people who are blind and help them achieve. This is a challenging and rewarding role
Volunteers will need to be available on the 2nd Friday of each month. Training in guiding, fingerspelling and interacting with Deafblind people will be provided. Auslan volunteers also welcomed.
Opportunity also exists for companion/bus assistants for outings on the last Saturday of the month
