Learn the basic skills required to work in Child Care This community child care organisation promotes, develops and supports community services and families. In particular, priority is given to working and studying partners with school aged children.

As a Child Care Assistant, you will learn how to establish relationships and interact with children and the policies, procedures and routines of the service. You will be giving each child individual attention and comfort as required. There will also be basic duties such as food preparation and cleaning.

A Working With Children check is a requirement.

The hours are between 3pm and 6pm on week days during NSW public school terms for after-school care and between 8am and 6pm during the NSW public school holidays for vacation care.

These positions are located on the far north coast of NSW, about two hours south of Brisbane.
