This organisation focuses on research, education conservation, recreation and heritage. They are looking for volunteers with an interest in gardening or those who are willing to learn. Experience in rainforest regeneration, landscaping, preparation and knowledge of rainforest plants would be appreciated but not essential. Volunteers are to help with planting, plant propagation, weeding, watering and small repairs. Other work may be available after volunteers have done some orientation work with our workday groups or with one of our members.
It is a that all workers in the Gardens must wear closed durable shoes, gloves, long sleeves and a hat. It is a requirement that volunteers join the organisation for insurance purposes.

This position is located on the Far North Coast about 2 hours south of Brisbane
