Provide companionship to the Aged Patience and a sense of humour Ability to work as part of a team Volunteers are required to visit residents in Nursing Homes and Hostels to provide companionship on a regular basis. A commitment to working with the elderly is essential with the time to visit weekly or fortnightly. Previous experience in working with the elderly would be an advantage. Visits usually last about 1 hour. These positions are available in a number of rural centres.
