Cire Services Inc. is an advanced, community based, not for profit organisation. Cire operates a range of services to meet community needs through education and provision of services.

• We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offering accredited, pre-accredited, work skills and leisure courses.
• Our Community School, a registered independent school, provides secondary curriculum to students in an alternative school environment.
• Family and Children's Services supports children's services for long day care, pre-school programs, occasional care, vacation care and before and after school care.
• Community Hubs, bringing people together to connect, learn and contribute in their local community through social, education, recreational and support activities.

Cire Services is a Child Safe organisation. With close to 200 employees and 8 sites across the Yarra Ranges, Cire is active and successful within the community.

Treasurer

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and committed Treasurer to support the Board of Governance into the next phase of development of the organisation. The Treasurer will be responsible for general financial oversight and providing financial guidance and recommendation to the CEO, COO and Board on major financial decisions.

As Treasurer, you will:

• Align with our Mission, Vision and Values
• Have the time to commit to Board meetings (once per month in Lilydale) and represent the Board at various Cire events
• Be accountable to the Cire community, employees, volunteers, clients and their families or carers/guardians for the effectiveness, integrity and viability of the organisation
• Have a strong understanding of governance roles, duties and obligations
• Have strong communication, EQ and interpersonal skills together with the ability to operate collaboratively in a team environment
