Take 3 is seeking an Industy Relations Assistant to support us in the lead up to our CEO Clean Up event on the 20th of November.
Take 3 is a not-for profit organisation established in 2009 and based in Long Jetty on the Central Coast NSW. Take 3’s vision is to reduce plastic pollution globally and connect people to the planet.
Our call to action is to simply Take 3 pieces of rubbish with you when you leave the beach, waterway or anywhere. Through our CEO Clean Up event we hope to engage businesses within our community to take part in our cause.
As an Industry Relations Assistant, you will be the point person for promoting this event to businesses and the local community. In this role, you will be directly helping facilitate community engagement so we can remove thousands of plastic pieces from our beaches.
Awareness raising - supporting the Fundraising Manager in notifying local businesses about the CEO Clean Up and how to engage with the initiative
Emailing information to local businesses on how to nominate a CEO/Leader with links to the fundraising website
Sharing FAQ and fundraising information sheets with businesses
Calling potential participants to tell them about the fundraising event
Liaising with participating businesses regarding fundraising enquires and event details
Enthusiasm for Clean-Ups
Outgoing personality and self-motivation
Good written and verbal communication skills
Commitment will be 1 day per week until the event, with an opportunity to extend to help with other upcoming events. Support on the day is not necessary but come along for the fun. Days and timings of work are flexible.
