Gardening volunteer in Erina aged care home

HammondCare Australia
Logo for HammondCare Australia

As a HammondCare volunteer in our Erina gardens, you'll engage with residents to potter in the gardens, tend the plants, or water the gardens. There's no hard labour involved, just an opportunity to give back and share your love of gardening.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity, specialising in dementia. We're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need and we have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of our residents in our residential care home.

Ideally you’ll be available one hour a week. We'd be happy to discuss with you a suitable time between Monday to Friday. HammondCare is located at 341 Terrigal Dr, Erina NSW 2250.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. We'll provide training as well as ongoing support.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have additional criteria

  • You will need to be aged over 16 years old
  • Provide proof of your current flu vaccination - or be willing to have the flu vaccination prior to starting
  • Be prepared to wear a face mask

When you submit your enquiry, please let us know why volunteering interests you.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
