As a Concierge Volunteer you'll be welcoming and screening visitors to our aged care home in North Turramurra, making sure our residents can continue to see their loved ones during the current Covid19 pandemic.

As you volunteer each week, you’ll be responsible for:

• Welcoming visitors to our aged care home.

• Reviewing each visitor against the entry criteria.

• Providing access to visitors that comply.

• Restricting access to visitors who don’t comply and explain to them why.

• Documenting visitor access and those where access has been denied.

This volunteer role will suit someone who aged between 21 – 79 and has:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills - including clear verbal communication

• Empathy and patience

• Capacity to relate to a diverse range of people

• Driver’s license & ability to travel to North Turramurra

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current flu vaccination or be willing to have the vaccination prior to starting

The time commitment is at least one session each week for 6 months or longer. We are looking for people to fill the following shifts:

• Tuesdays 10am – 11:30am or 3:30pm – 5pm

• Thursdays 10am – 11:30am or 3:30pm – 5pm
