Now as we plan ahead, and with the borders down, the current Chairperson, Founder, Susan Saleeba will be returning to Kenya, thus we are seeking a new Board Chairperson. Nakuru Hope is a phenomenal success story of how assisting those who are less privileged can transform the lives and futures of many.

Established by Perth Founder, Nakuru Hope makes a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and their families in Nakuru, Kenya. From its modest beginnings, Nakuru Hope has grown to become a refuge for local children - providing formal education to hundreds, a home for orphans across 2 locations, a farm to support self-sufficiency in food production and several other services supporting the local community.

Based in Perth, this Board role offers a fantastic opportunity to actually see how lives can be changed. Working with a highly experienced and committed Board, alongside a passionate Founder and other dedicated Board members, you will obtain a bona fide “director experience”, with the ability to shape the organisation’s ongoing future.

You will have had previous experience in a leadership capacity, be it at Committee / Board / Executive level and having a genuine will to make a difference will further strengthen your application.
