Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS).  Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.

We have a lovely 83 year old lady who lives in her own home in St Albans Victoria who would benefit from your friendship. She enjoys conversation, light gardening and knitting items for charities

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly virtual visits (i.e. phone/skype or zoom calls, writing a letter or sending a card to maintain a connection) or at least fortnightly connections for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions we are unable to have face to face visits at this time.

Good English communication skills are required however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language are very welcome to enquire.
