Kedron Scout Group is looking for a number of leaders and helpers across our 6 sections of Scouting. We have scouts running 4 evenings a week and we have opportunities for leadership roles in every section.

Our Scout Group is a fun-filled family-orientated group. Our sections are brimming with enthusiastic, inquisitive young people keen to learn more about Scouting. No previous scouting skills or experience is required as many of us started at Scouts that way. What we are asking is that you share your knowledge and your skills and abilities with our young people.

We provide hands-on mentoring, our time and our friendship. Onto this, the Best of Scouting training is provided, at no cost to you. You never know, you may end up with a Cert. IV in Leadership and Management. We assist you in applying for a Blue Card, if you haven’t got one. Our scouts’ safety is our No.1 priority.

Onto this there are other incentives, such as free uniform or discounted fees if you have a child that joins our scout group.

We do ask for your commitment and your time as our Scouts will grow to trust you and look up to you as their leader. No age barriers – if you are an adult then you are eligible, and we’d love to have a chat.

So, if you enjoy passing on your skills to children, don’t mind a bit of paperwork and like having fun, then there is a role here for you.

The satisfaction is immense and the pride is unsurpassable!!

We have vacancies in every section - so if you are interested in being a scout leader or an adult or youth helper, contact us now.
