Sustainability not-for-profit PlantingSeeds Projects is currently seeking a tech guru. This would be initially for WordPress and Moodle as well as troubleshooting for 300 basic Android phones. Later, you may have input into a major app project and our SquareSpace and back office applications including potential migrations to new platforms.

PlantingSeeds works to improve sustainability - especially in urban areas. To raise awareness and foster action, we use technology for groups such as school children and seniors.

We're looking for an expert in design, development and tech support or if you're not strong on all three but keen to learn while volunteering, please also apply. You would work with our small team in the city on Tuesdays ideally but could also Zoom into Tuesday meetings.

As many of our team and most of our target groups are not technical, you need to be very patient and explain things carefully. Experience or understanding of education for digital literacy would be very helpful. A passion for sustainability and climate action would also be highly beneficial.

Commitment would be approximately one 6 hour day Tuesdays (10am-4pm) plus 2 extra hours elsewhere in the week fixing urgent issues.
