During these challenging times we need volunteers more than ever, to support isolated people in our community to feel socially connected again. If you’re a ‘people person’ and would like to make a difference to the life of someone who is socially isolated we would love to hear from you!

Jack lives in Albion and has an interest in reading, listening to the radio, watching AFL (Bulldogs fan), doing word searches and going on day trips. Jack would like to be connected with a volunteer who is prepared initially, to provide home visits as well as going out for walks, coffee and lunch in the future.

The best suited to support Jack will be patient, understanding, positive, engaging and able to talk on any number of topics. You will also have the ability to support Jack to achieve his social goals and creatively reconnect with his interests and passions. Practical communication skills and the confidence to work independently are a must. Your own vehicle will be required to transport Jack* on outings. Valid driver’s license necessary. This rewarding role will enable you to make a valuable contribution to your community and the social wellbeing of another person. Induction, ongoing supervision and opportunities for professional development provided.
