The HOW-R-U program is run by Friends for Good and Bolton Clarke. This service would involve volunteers providing weekly telephone calls to clients, in their own homes or in nursing homes, to check on their wellbeing and refer any medical issues back to Bolton Clarke.

Calls are done remotely and training and supervision is provided.

Some of the skills and qualities we are looking for: Essential: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to the vision and mission of Friends for Good - Ability to work well independently and as part of a team - Willingness to undergo regular training - Basic IT proficiency - Satisfactory National Police Record Check Desirable: - Previous volunteer experience is desirable but not essential - A background in or current student of psychology is highly desirable but not essential
