The Hospital Foundation Care Army is made up of everyday Queenslanders who want to assist our Hospital and Health Service best support our community during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Recently, our Hospital Foundation Care Army has assisted with the COVID-19 Testing Clinics in West Moreton. We can often need your help at short notice to best support and assist our Health Service and Community.

Responsibilities of the Hospital Care Army may include:

• Assisting with set up and pack down of pop-up events (like putting up marques, setting up tables and chairs, and re-stocking eskies with supplies)
• Driving supplies from different locations
• Assistance with data entry
• General cleaning
• Collecting coffee orders
• Delivering food and drinks to essential staff

Requirements:

• Driver’s License (and reliable car)
• Reliable and available at short notice
• Availability days, nights, weekends at short notice
• Based in West Moreton (Ipswich, Springfield, Somerset, Lockyer Valley, and Scenic Rim areas)
• Fit, healthy and well
• Aged between 18 and 60 years
