Reception Administration & Meet and Greet Volunteer - Unley Worship and Community Centre

At the heart of The Unley Salvation Army  is a passion to support our community.  The Salvation Army Worship and Community Centre at Unley, SA, is looking for Reception Administration and  Meet & Greet volunteers who will greet visitors and promote a welcoming environment whilst performing general administrative duties for the Centre to assist the Corps Officer. A typical day in this role will see you greeting visitors and clients, promoting the welcoming environment of The Salvation Army and assisting the Corps Officer in addition to providing general reception duties.

Seasonally there will be opportunities to assist with fundraising projects for Christmas (Oct-Dec) and the Red Shield Appeal (May).

As the centre is open across the week 3 positions are being offered for this role and it is suitable for school hours. Please advise your availability in your expression of interest.

Additional requirements:

  • Experience in Reception, Administration and Meet and Greet roles and customer service preferred but not essential
  • Complete The Salvation Army's volunteer registration process
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current Criminal History Check (Police Check) required undertaken by The Salvation Army at no cost to applicant
  • Complete TSA induction modules and any other training as required
