Volunteers are required to pay a one-off registration fee of $40. This fee will cover insurance, a name badge, a lovely branded polo shirt, plus an ongoing complimentary annual membership to the National Trust. The annual membership will remain free for all the years you remain an active volunteer. This annual membership provides unlimited free entry to all National Trust properties nationwide, which includes free entry to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!

Tour Guides Volunteers tasks include: Showing people around the property Showcasing great customer flare and confidence in talking to individuals as well as small groups Has a genuine passion for Wolston, its heritage and the National Trust Selection Criteria: Over 18yrs old Follow health, safety and Covid safe regulations in a fun and friendly manner Are fit and healthy to conduct a volunteering role, especially in all weathers Can commit to volunteering on a Wednesday and/or Sunday for Spring/Summer seasons Able to stand on feet for 5hrs shift Engaging, can demonstrate clear communication with a smile Has some local knowledge, keenness to promote other National Trust properties and offerings This role may suit you if you have obligations to complete volunteering hours. Approx. 15 hours/week available. (C) This role would certainly suit individuals who wish to re invent the past times, dress up and act!
