Key Responsibilities:

• Build a network of clients and partners to promote our community projects across NSW
• Gauge community needs to develop relevant and beneficial project ideas
• Provide project ideas to Projects team who will seek and apply for relevant grants
• Working in collaboration with Project Manager and Assistant to develop project scopes, objectives and outcomes
• Work with our marketing team to market community projects to clients, partners and wider public to secure attendance
• Ensuring that the project design by the projects teams meets the outcomes of the project
• Use collected feedback data to understand how to improve projects or develop new ideas for future projects

The ideal candidate will have:

• Existing networks/relationships within communities from migrant and refugee backgrounds
• Experienced communicator with confidence to build new relationships with relevant individuals or partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A highly motivated self-starter with a mature and dynamic approach
• Solid organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and autonomously.
• Educational background in social work, social sciences or welfare related discipline is preferred but not necessary.
• Some working experience in community engagement with children, youth or issues such as domestic violence is preferred but not essential
• Accessibility during work hours to make calls to partners and clients
