Fundraising Program Leader

HorsePower Hills

The Fundraising Leader will know how to establish and maintain business, government and community relationships and sponsorship.

This is an exciting time for HorsePower Hills as it progresses building a new horse  riding centre and expanding its riding programs to meet varied community needs.

The Fundraising Leader works from home and is supported by enthusiastic and skilled committee.  The nature of the work is both computer-based and one to one relationship building.

HorsePower Hills has provided recreational and therapeutic horse riding sessions for children and young people with diverse abilities for over 40 years.  It was previously known as Riding for the Disabled Hills Group Inc.

HorsePower Hills is based in the Shire of Mundaring.  The organisation's riders and volunteers come from across the Perth Metro area, the cities of Kalamunda and Swan and the shires of Northam and York.

Volunteers can take on administrative roles to build the charity’s capacity and viability. Volunteers can be trained to assist the coach and occupational therapist to provide the horse riding experiences and to assist with equine maintenance.

The organisation is entirely volunteer-run. It is an incorporated association, a charity with DGR status and has a Charitable Collections Licence.

HorsePower Hills is a member of HorsePower Australia which has 14 riding centre members in Western Australia. HorsePower Hills is an accredited Centre of Excellence.
