Receptionist

    General Training in receptionist role duties and NSCC policies, procedures.

    Receptionist or administration experience preferred. Basic Computer Skills required. Good Customer service skills required.
    Blue/Yellow card will be organised by North Shore Community Centre if you do not have one.

Accountability – You will be responsible to the Bookings Coordinator & Manager. Duties - The following duties may be required to be completed during the course of the role and include but are not limited to the following;  Tours of centre and rooms where possible to interested hirers  Giving out application forms, venue hire fees etc. and explaining process  Giving out timetables and talking to people about classes, giving additional flyers, advising of what’s coming up, register interest on Expressions of Interest form for potential new groups
 Setting up chairs, tables, equipment for hirers where necessary  Answering phone – taking messages  Ordering stationary  Reprinting and copying application forms, venue hire fees and other forms in trays  Reprinting timetables  Checking What’s on Board and Community Notice Board in front courtyard for out of date flyers or flyers in need of refresh  Watering plants in foyer  Checking kitchen benches are clear, emptying tea and coffee station donations box  Putting all kitchen equipment back in correct place  Updating rotation of back of toilet doors advertising posters for programs and services.  Redoing kitchen labels when necessary  Redoing centre signs when necessary  Printing and laminating new centre signs/labels  Cleaning and organising Stationary cupboard  Cleaning and organising Toy Room  Cleaning and organising Storage cupboards in all rooms  Cleaning and organising Book Exchange  Looking after office and centre if Bookings Coordinator or Manager needs to leave centre for outside networking appointments or to purchase items for the centre.  Filing  Updating, edits and sorting of policies and procedures.  Printing and Copying for members of the public  Administering loan devices and use of WIFI in centre  All other tasks as directed by the Bookings Coordinator and or Manager
