This position seeks a supportive, empathetic volunteer who is passionate about supporting other with chronic pain and developing an online community.

• Good listening skills are essential to the position.
• Lived experience with chronic pain complexities, or familiarity with persistent pain issues would be an advantage.
• Members may be experiencing intense and desperate feelings when they contact APMA. And/or seeking support, information and resources to help manage pain and life issues.
• Outgoing and passionate about helping and communicating with people in chronic pain.
• Open-minded  to different approaches to pain management.
• Happy to work with a team to facilitate meetings and talks.
• Able to dedicate time to growing and managing the PainTalks project.
