This is a shared role with days and hours rostered by the Store Manager. The store is open from 8:30am to 4pm Mondays to Fridays and shifts are available for immediate start. Please advise availability in your expression of interest.

The successful candidate will have a Working with Children Check (WWCC), and be willing to apply for a National Police Certificate at the cost of the organisation.

About Us. Oasis Central Coast Community Centre was launched on 27 November 1999 as a joint collaboration between The Salvation Army, local and federal government and community members.  With a staff of 5, the mission of the centre was to provide essential services and support to young people, designed to promote their well-being and help address youth suicide rates in the region.  Some of these programs that we still offer today for young people to raise their self-esteem and develop living skills includes case management, school programs, counselling, education, training, social activities and welfare support for those who are disadvantaged and at risk of being caught up in homelessness, crime and social isolation.

Over time, Oasis Central Coast has been responsive to the needs of the community and in addition to our youth programs, we now also provide a range of services to support people of all ages in our community.  With 15 staff and more than 200 volunteers connected to our Centre, we provide a range of programs, services and support to meet the needs of our local community.  We provide vocational training and work experience opportunities in our Community Shop, Pop Up café, Business Administration and Workshop.  We have a range of life skills short courses to engage people to build their confidence and self-esteem.  We provide community support through our community meals program, shower and laundry facilities for the homeless, and welfare support.

We welcome new partnerships and innovative ideas to bring hope to people in our community.
