The SEO volunteer responsibilities are to develop and implement efficient SEO strategies to support our organisational campaigns goals in order to attract new visitors to the website and to optimize its performance. Report on weekly outcomes, and to continually develop skills and technical knowledge. We are now at an exciting growth stage and we need motivated volunteer expert in Google Ads to support our development.

Responsibilities Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Setup, manage and optimize SEO campaigns using Google Ads
  • Identify SEO opportunities for our organisation
  • Comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities
  • Increase SEO traffic
  • Create monthly reporting and data analysis
  • Google Ad management
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in search, analytics, and technologies
  • Manage landing page and websites to install conversion code and tracking pixels
  • Educate Program Managers on strategies so they are in the loop on our strategies and tactics

Skills and Experience

  • Prior work/study experience with SEO – provide details of your previous experience
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Great written and oral communication skills
  • A highly positive/can-do attitude
  • Web development skills will also be of benefit

About Us Reading out of Poverty (ROOP) is the only non-profit organisation in Victoria with a sole focus on providing early literacy skills and school preparedness for children aged 0-5 years from a disadvantaged background.

What We Do? We promote literacy skills in early childhood and provide literacy resources and services to families with young children from low socio-economic backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, and indigenous individuals in Victoria.

Our Mission To promote language skills and literacy for children, beginning at birth, and to support parents as their child’s first teachers.
