The Ten Lives Creative Team As Tasmania's largest cat shelter we need to spread the word far and wide about what we do and showcase our kitties looking for their forever homes. If you've seen any of our stuff you'll know that our Marketing and Communications department does an amazing job. Headed by our Marketing and Communications Manager the team provides support to all areas of the organisation. This includes in-house generated collateral (posters, brochures, quarterly magazine) and all digital media (social media streams, video production and copywriting). The team produces engaging and professional content that is recognised throughout Hobart as being of an extremely high quality.

The Opportunity Cat videos anyone?? In this role you will be filming and photographing our kitties, staff and other special projects to produce creative and compelling media. You will also edit this content for use internally or externally, on our live Ten Lives TV Youtube Channel and all our social media streams. You'll spend lots of time with our kitties to understand their personalities and capture their quirky characteristics. You’ll soon discover no kitty is the same! As a volunteer photographer/videographer, we expect you to have operating knowledge of DSLR cameras and editing software. Your own equipment and software are a bonus, but not required. We can provide all equipment, and use Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite.

The Impact Since the introduction of our social media channels, we have seen a direct impact on levels of adoption (which have almost doubled). Our creative team helps to get our important messages and kitties for adoption out to a wide audience throughout Hobart and beyond. With over 18,000 subscribers, the importance of our talented creative team is central to our work. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands on creative and marketing experience as well as contribute to our cats finding their forever home. This is a great role for those interested in adding to their portfolio or who would like to use their talent by giving back to a cause close to their heart.
