Fundraising Consultant (Voluntary Part-Time Role)

Mind Medicine Australia

About the Role:

A wonderful voluntary role to help alleviate mental illness through expanding treatment options. You will help Mind Medicine Australia to secure new funding opportunities and welcome new supporters to our charity. You’ll bring a passion for giving, exceptional relationship management, organisational and influencing skills and strong networks and will play a critical role in introducing a new paradigm in the treatment of mental health. You'll join at an exciting period of growth for the organisation.

You will assist with funding applications and acquittals, recruiting and retaining high value donors, sponsors and partners. You will do this through building long term relationships with our partners, prospecting, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of supporters and identifying and writing philanthropic and government submissions for funding, in order to build and strengthen fundraising sources and maximise income for the charity.

If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

About Mind Medicine Australia:

Mind Medicine Australia is a charity that enables the development of regulatory-approved and research-backed psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for the treatment of mental ill-health in Australia. Over 45% of Australians will experience mental illness in their lifetime. This is a crisis that requires a new approach.

Psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy - currently being trialled worldwide - is demonstrating remarkable results in treating depression, anxiety, addiction and PTSD. Mind Medicine Australia believes everyone should have access to the best treatments for mental illness and we need your support.

Mind Medicine Australia are holding an International Summit on Psychedelic Therapies for Mental Illness, taking place in Melbourne from 18-19 November 2020 at the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins.

The two-day Summit on Psychedelic Therapies for Mental Illness will bring together clinicians, scientists, academics, mental and public health professionals, philanthropists, Government, law and policy makers, business, industry, consumers and other interested stakeholders. The event will be preceded by a two-day workshop program for therapists, health professionals and members of the public with leading international facilitators.

The Summit will feature a rich program of international and national keynotes, master classes, hot spots, panel conversations and a gala dinner Q & A.

Together we can change the paradigm for mental health. Please join us – we hope to see you there!
