Kyneton Basketball Association is a long-standing community sport organisation, and a member of the Australian Basketball Association. We are currently based at Kyneton Aquatic and Sports Centre.

Volunteers are needed from 4:30pm for 2-3 hours, 5 evenings a week. We are looking to build a team of volunteers who can work together to cover basketball courts and shifts.

The role involves: •Monitoring and reporting on the venue’s compliance •Recording the number of people within a venue at any one time •Taking steps to minimize risk of person-to-person transmission of COVID-19 within the venue •Assisting with contact tracing in the event of a positive COVID-19 test from one of the participants

You will receive: •Training in BioSafety •High Vis vest and PPE equipment for personal safety and cleaning of high-use equipment •Contact tracing training and equipment •Advice about managing privacy and confidentiality when collecting data

One of the important goals of the Kyneton Basketball Association is to provide junior development of the game of basketball at a local level in the Kyneton area. Kids need to exercise for physical and mental health, and this role is vital in helping kids maintain healthy habits.
