Preside as Chair at State Sport Committee meetings Deliver on the responsibilities outlined in the Terms of Reference and ensure alignment with the current Special Olympics strategic goals Provide direction and leadership to the state committee and members Represent the state committee to external parties as required Strong networking, negotiation, organisation and presentation skills Excellent organisation and communication skills Strong leadership skills Committed, ambitious and determined Develop and implement targeted fundraising campaigns to support Games and sports development, in accordance with the SOA Fundraising Guidelines Provide support to Club Membership Officers and oversee annual SOA registration Liaise with local media in accordance with the SOA Communications Policy and Brand Guidelines
