About the role  Do you have green fingers and some spare time?  We would love to hear from you! We are looking for  volunteers who love gardening and would like to share their passion with our elderly residents . The role will involve assisting our residents in the garden and creating a space for everyone to enjoy.

About you

• You will have good interpersonal and communication skills
• You will be patient, friendly and outgoing
• Following instructions and working in a cooperative way will be paramount in this role
• A desire to have fun will go a long way!
• A weekly or fortnightly commitment would be ideal

Flu Vaccination Requirement As of May the 1st 2020 it is mandatory that all staff, volunteers and visitors to Residential Aged Care Facilities have a current flu vaccination. You will be asked to provide proof.

Personal History Screening All volunteers supporting vulnerable people require a current criminal history check. In Residential Aged Care and Community Care there are strict legislative requirements governing this. What if I don't have a Police Check? Don't worry - we can apply for one and cover the cost for you. As soon as you have passed the check, you will be able to volunteer.
