Treasurer - Board Member

We are looking for a Treasurer Board Member who can attend a minimum of 3 Board meetings per year (remotely if applicable) who can do our accounts payable and receivable.

Part of your duty will be the ensure the safe custody of the organisations financial records, financial statements/reports. Prepare a financial report within six months after the end of the financial year. Ensure that it's financial report for the year is reviewed and audited appropriately and to be presented at the Annual General Meeting.

You will also need to provide assistance to an auditor/reviewer conducting an audit or review of the Organisations financial statement/reports where applicable.

The ideal volunteer will have a financial qualification, bookkeeping or accounting and past Board member experience is not essential but would be a benefit.
