The Queensland Maritime Museum attracts more than 40,000 visitors per annum including local families, school groups as well as, tour groups, inner-state and international visitors. The museum is planning to reopen in late July early August 2020 under a COVID-Safe process. . We are now looking for the help of an experienced tiler/water-proofer to assist in getting the new toilet facilities operational. The work is expected to be undertaken in the next few weeks and is due for completion by the end of July ready for the reopening of the museum.

We will supply the following: Tiles, Both floor and wall Grout Tiling cement/glue Waterproofing membrane and membrane tape Primer Tile spacers

You supply the yourself, skills and the tools to get the job done.

Attachedis a plan showing the layout of the toilet block.

Floors: 300mm x 300mm alternating black and white tiles (male and female floor space 2785 x 6250) Full tiling on the floors of both the male and female toilets areas

Walls: 200mm x 100mm white tiles (male and female floor space 2.7 x 6250) On the central wall holding the pans, sinks urinals etc. – 2.7m high in a brickwork pattern on both female and male sides.

Applicants should be prepared to work in a COVID-Safe and work-safe manner. They will be working under the general direction of the operations manager.
