Financial Auditor
Energise GloucesterEnergise Gloucester has received a grant from the NSW Regional Community Energy Fund for the development of a community solar farm. We are in the process of setting up a co-op to manage the development and operation of the solar farm. We will raise further funds from the sale of shares in the co-op. Shareholders will be paid dividends commencing when the solar farm commences selling power to the grid.
Some of the power generated will be sold "behind the meter" to the property-owners of the land on which the solar farm will be located. Some of the power will be sold at a discount to community members based on economic need, via an arrangement with an energy retailer.
In order to register the co-op, we need to have identified an auditor who will undertake the annual audit of the co-op's finances. The auditor needs to be a CPA or other professionally qualified accountant.
