Wildlife Rescue Telephone Duty Operator

  • Requirements

    You will need to be reliable and dependable with clear English skills and good literacy. You will possess a pleasant phone manner, patience and the maturity to handle calls from the general public. You will have a reliable internet connection and reliable landline or mobile. You will be aged over 18 years and join FAWNA as an Associate Member and undergo training.

Share your passion for wildlife and work from home by volunteering for this longstanding (30 years) reputable organisation. If you can commit to 5 hours per week or more, you can help our members locate, rescue, pick-up and deliver injured wildlife to Vets/other specialised carers et al. You will need to become an Associate member of FAWNA and undergo training. As we are a 7 days a week organisation, there are plenty of choices of shifts which are either 8.00am-12.00noon, 12.00noon to 5.00pm, 5.00pm-8.00am, plus 1 extra hour each shift for the completion of data entry if required. You can do 15 hours per week or just 5 hours. Access to internet and some data entry ability is required.
