Assistant Community Speaker/Presenter
Arthritis and Osteoporosis NTWillingness to:
1) undertake relevant in-house training including basic understanding of arthritis and osteoporosis, and role of AONT
2) become familiar with materials referred to in presentations and available at information stands
3) work collaboratively with AONT presenters in preparation of materials, style & content of presentations
4) contribute to presentations and client enquiries while following AONT established protocols
5) maintain confidentiality regarding client/customer enquiries
6) maintain records as required
ESSENTIAL:
- ability to work with a close knit team of volunteers
- sensitivity to peoples heath related issues
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to commit to training & attend updates as advised by AONT
DESIRABLE:
- experience in addressing small groups in either health or social context
A Working with Children Check is required.
