Volunteer Administration Officer (Treasurer) – Bali Animal Welfare Association West Australia Inc. (BAWA WA) BAWA WA is an official partner organisation to Bali Animal Welfare Association (BAWA) in Bali. We are based here in Perth and we’re a registered not for profit/charity. BAWA WA is looking for a volunteer who is experienced in administration, and who shares our passion for animal welfare and support for BAWA in Bali. BAWA is an amazing organisation, providing essential education and animal welfare services in Bali. This role provides for the financial integrity of the Association. The Treasurer will provide financial management and financial reports to the board and members of the Association. This volunteer position is a board member/ key admin position, which involves working from home for an average of 8 hours per month and includes preparing for and attending local board meetings in Perth and otherwise communicating electronically with the board and donators regularly. The role is ideal for people experienced in community based boards of management or people who have experience in office and financial administration and compliance. Experienced bookkeepers are also encouraged to apply. Computer skills and internet access is a must. The role requires good communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to work in a team. Financial software access is provided (as is software training and support) and access to the Association’s Accountant/Auditor.
