Anglicare manages a number of retail recycling stores that sell quality recycled clothing and household items at affordable prices. Profits generated at our retail recycling stores are used to support the work of Anglicare and to support the outreach of the Anglican Church.

We are looking for 2 drivers to help us in the process of collecting and distributing donations to our stores across several locations in the ACT and Queanbeyan region.

Key responsibilities:

• Driving Anglicare’s Retail van to collect and distribute donations across our stores
• Lifting and loading clothing and items from donation bins into the Retail van
• Communicating and working effectively with Anglicare Retail staff
• Collecting rubbish and recycling from shops to be taken to the Tip

Key attributes:

• Performing physical activities in adherence with WHS principles
• Demonstrates efficiency in working independently and as part of a team
• Communicates respectfully and clearly with others
• Ability to prioritise and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Follows instructions well and seeks clarification when necessary

Key experience:

• Safe handling and lifting techniques
• Minimum of 5 years driving experience
