Volunteers who have undertaken the required Safe Environments for Children and Young people "Through their eyes" training, will have the opportunity to undertake such tasks as transporting children to and from school, appointments, family visits and respite.

Volunteers must be reliable and available for a reasonable amount of time. This may be weekly, fortnightly or monthly on weekends and weekdays.

All volunteers are required to have a Departmental HR check, as well as a current Working with Children Check and hold current drivers licence.

It is an expectation that volunteers will maintain strict confidentiality regarding our young people and their families, be reliable and available for a reasonable amount of time and this maybe weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Volunteers are able to claim mileage for travel to and from their home to the office
