The Salvation Army 'The Well' St Kilda plays an active role in the local community to provide a place of worship, support services and programs. Dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming space for all, the Community Gardener plays an important role in the life and ministry of 'The Well' St Kilda.

The Volunteer Gardening Assistant is needed to help to maintain our centre's garden - weeding, mowing grass, pruning and general tidying, keeping the garden and other outdoor areas free of weeds, and sweeping concreted areas. Suggesting and implementing garden improvements to enhance the overall ambiance of the garden and surrounds is another important part of this role.

Integrity checks will be a requirement of this role.

A reasonable level of fitness is an inherent requirement of this role. Some heavy lifting may be required.

1-2 days per week as an ongoing requirement. Shifts available across the week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30am-2:30pm each day. Please advise your availabilty in your expression of interest.
