Our 16-week volunteer program is designed to facilitate learning within a collaborative office environment, as well as offer practical experience working on operations administration and training & development. The volunteer program also provides valuable opportunities for students / graduates to network with professionals in Sydney’s thriving startup ecosystem.

The Training & Operations Admin Volunteer Coordinator will complement the Coordinator's role in streamlining processes in the marketing, events management and day-to-day operations. The Volunteer Coordinator will also be in charge of coordinating with the rest of the volunteer team to ensure everybody is aware of the process updates and their respective weekly schedule.

You will also help by undertaking a variety of administrative tasks & practical daily activities directly contributing to the production and operational requirements of The Studio, reporting to the Community & Events Coordinator.

The role is suited to an enthusiastic and energetic person who is interested in jumping into a fast-paced environment, and willing to do what it takes in order to get the job done.

This position is apt to someone with strong interest in designing and developing learning content, and can demonstrate excellent written skills, effective visual design skills, & strong verbal communications skills to facilitate orientation or training.

Administrative skills & attention to detail are essential in conducting online research, doing documentations, and project administration. On occasion, the role will help feel residents & guests welcomed & valued through exceptional customer service & people skills applied in the performance of concierge duty.

Skills Required: We are looking for volunteers with the following skills, qualifications or experience to fill this volunteer role: Demonstrated application of best practice instructional design methodologies in the development of learning solutions; understanding of adult learning principles (1) Strong coordination and liaising skills (2) Exhibited strong visual design skills using a variety of software application (3) Demonstrated strong English language skills (oral & written), with some experience in editing instructional material (4) In-depth Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Powerpoint (5) Proficient in using Mac/PC and can do self-directed learning of new technical tools/ softwares/ applications (6) Exceptional attention to detail (7) Ability to follow directions carefully, and able to be resourceful and strategic (8) Nimble & quick to adapt, learn & improve

** Desirable Skills: ** (a) Experience in using learning content authoring application such as Articulate 360 and have access to it (b) Experience in project administration using Jira software (c) Knowledge of events management, digital marketing and graphics design (d) Familiarity with the startup environment

Hours: 8am - 4pm OR 9am - 5pm, min 2 days per week
