Due to the risk of COVID-19 entering aged care homes, main entry points to Bethanie’s residential care homes need to be monitored during visiting hours to ensure that people sign in appropriately (including having temperature checked, showing evidence of flu vaccination, completing a symptomology and travel history questionnaire). Bethanie is seeking a pool of volunteers to assist staff with conducting this screening during visiting hours of 9:30 – 11:30am and 1:30 – 4:30pm. We particularly need assistance during weekends, but also need volunteers during the week (7 days a week). Key requirements for the role Applicants must be able to show evidence of or be willing to undertake a flu vaccination. Must adhere to all entry requirements (no temperature, no flu like symptoms, not have travelled to COVID-19 affected regions in last 14 days or been in the presence of someone COVID-19 positive).
