Volunteering at HammondCare is a great experience for you, and a great way to make a difference for people in need. Volunteer with passion and purpose with HammondCare, an independent Christian charity specialising in dementia care.

You’ll find that as you volunteer, you'll meet new people and make new friends, you’ll gain personal satisfaction and have fun. It’s a way for you to use your skills and past experiences to keep growing – and the learning doesn’t stop. HammondCare provides training, as well as great support of a local Volunteer Coordinator.

As you visit and spend time with residents in one of our residential care homes at North Turramurra, you may help with activities, music, art, - or just sit and enjoy chatting with people.

Ideally you'll be available between 1-15 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

HammondCare North Turramurra is located at 10 Murrua Road, North Turramurra New South Wales 2074.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. You'll also be required to complete the NDIS Worker Check and provide proof of your flu vaccination - or be willing to have the vaccination each year.
