Responsibilities • Annual budget preparation (and other special budgets, such as grants and projects, as necessary). • Review of financial statements and explanation of variance and meaning to committee at monthly meetings (financial statements are prepared by the Finance Officer). • Meet all financial annual reporting requirements and legal obligations (e.g. ACNC and WA Charity License). • Review, update and create documents detailing charity-related financial guidelines, procedures and processes. • Oversee reimbursement process for purchases made by committee members. • Set up (and in some cases act as a signatory) on purchasing and donation accounts (including Stipe, PayPal, bank account, eBay, etc.) and maintain an accurate and up-to-date list of all accounts. • Obtain quotes for financial-related and large-scale services e.g. auditing, insurances, building works etc. • Manage auditing process and maintain good relationship with auditors. • Monitor financial performance of all charity campaigns. • Update roles and responsibilities documents to ensure they accurately reflect tasks and accountabilities associated with your role.

About You • Ability to devote time and effort to help Little Things achieve its strategic objectives. • Strong financial skills and understanding. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Willingness to take a leadership role. • Trustworthy, methodical and consistent. • Personal commitment to the mission of Little Things. • Based in metropolitan Perth.

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and CPA/CA qualified would be beneficial in the role, although not essential as you will have the support of our Finance Officer.

You can not apply for this role as it is no longer available.
